2008 BMW 6 Series
The BMW 6 Series is the largest and most luxurious coupé in BMW’s lineup.
Tracing its lineage back to the original BMW 3200 CS in the early 1960s, the 6 Series has always represented strong performance, with a healthy dose of luxury. In grand touring fashion, it is the ultimate Autobahn cruiser. The BMW 6 Series ranked among the top three models in its segment in the 2007 APEAL study. With its powerful 8-cylinder engine mated to an automatic transmission, the BMW 6 Series is rated by the EPA at 15 mpg city/23 mpg highway. For 2008, BMW updated the taillights with LED illumination, upgraded the automatic transmission to a 6-speed unit, and made minor cosmetic changes to the exterior of the vehicle.
